About John Woodin

John Woodin is a Philadelphia based artist whose landscapes, cityscapes, and still life photographs explore the relationship between nature and culture. His fine art photographs have been exhibited internationally and are held in private and public collections including; the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Allentown Art Museum, the Smithsonian Museum of Art, and the Library of Congress. A monograph of his work, titled: City of Memory, New Orleans Before and After Katrina, was published by the Center of American Places at Columbia College Chicago. John lives with his wife, photographer and retoucher, Chelsea Woodin in Swarthmore, PA where they offer commercial and fine art photography.
