About Sandra Benhaim
Sandra Benhaim is a visual artist fascinated with color, creating images predominantly using paint and collage, on various surfaces. Photography has been a resource for many of her images, as well as an end in itself.
After working representationally, she now mainly works abstractly in expressive, exuberant color. She’s had 11 solo exhibitions and has shown her work from Washington state to Florida. Sandra’s artwork is in public collections: PNC Headquarters, Pittsburgh, PA; Servier Laboratories, Boston, MA; Mondrian Investments, Philadelphia, PA, among others. In 2018 Philadelphia’s Del Frisco’s Grille commissioned/installed a 96”H x 78”W painting by her.
