A Dream of Birds, Katie Baldwin
Katie Baldwin is a bookbinder and printmaker who has traveled extensively as artist in residence, including Japan, Mexico, Cuba, and Poland. She has received grant funding through several organizations including The Leeway Foundation, The Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, The Barbara Deming Foundation, and The Independence Foundation. Baldwin was an artist in residence at the Women's Studio Workshop, her work was included in a group exhibition curated by Katie Ware at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and has an upcoming solo exhibition at The Delaware Center for Contemporary Art. She is the 2008 recipient of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship.Katie Baldwin received her Masters of Fine Arts in printmaking and book arts from the University of the Arts. Her work is included in special collections such as the Arts Library Special Collection at Yale University Library in New Haven and The Fine Prints Collection at The Library of Congress in Washington DC.
