Judy DeSimone earned a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She taught for thirty-nine years as a K-8 art teacher in the suburban Philadelphia public and Catholic schools. Ms. DeSimone currently is practicing her craft as a ceramic artist participating in craft fairs and art shows. Judy's technique is hand-building using mid-fire stoneware, underglazes and gloss glaze fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln. Each of her whimsical vessels are distinctly different from the other as each of us are unique.
